Prof. Dr. Onur Konuk
1973 senesinde Ankara'da doğmuştur. İlk ve Orta Öğretimini TED Ankara Koleji ve Ankara Atatürk Anadolu Lisesi'nde, Yüksek Öğrenimini ise 1990 senesinde girdiği Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nde 1996 yılında tamamlamıştır.
1996 senesinde girdiği Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalında ihtisas eğitimini 2001 tarihinde tamamlamıştır. 2001-2004 seneleri arasında aynı klinikte Öğretim Görevlisi, 2004-2008 seneleri arasında Yardımcı Doçent Doktor, 2008 senesinden itibaren Doçent Doktor 2016 yılından itibaren Profesör Doktor olarak çalışmaktadır. 2008 senesinde Paris'te girdiği Avrupa Oftalmoloji sınavını alarak 'Fellow of European Board of Ophthalmology' titrini elde etti. Türk Oftalmoloji Derneği, European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (E.S.O.P.R.S.) ve American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) üyesidir. İyi derecede İngilizce bilmektedir.
